  The 2024 vintage is the start of Thunderstone, a single vineyard Porongurup Project featuring Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. These are the stars of Porongurup wines and lift the profile of this tiny and obscure, yet unique, region.

• Winemaking

  The Riesling block is on shallow gravelly soil with a northern aspect. The hand pruned vines are manually shoot positioned with excess and damaged fruit removed before picking. The 2024 Thunderstone Riesling was handpicked and whole bunch pressed with a generous free run cut to maximise purity of line. Typically, between 450-500L/T is our juice yield.
